not at all suspicious

i do love the good place and i did enjoy tonight’s episode but
there seemed to be a conflation between “good” and “lawful” that i found less than insightful
based on earlier episodes, i definitely thought there was more of a consideration of “intent” in the points system (which would explain why Doug Fawcett would go to the bad place) and you would think that “intent” would counter-balance negative consequences that the doer didn’t or couldn’t have known about?
on the other hand some criticism of purity culture wouldn’t necessarily or inherently be a bad thing
as i always say with the good place ~ guess we’ll have to see where this goes!
(I am excited to go to IHOP)
Also, as a side note, I'm gonna be trying a Thing tomorrow for my bday, a sort of gift-it-forward thing, so if you think you might be interested, please check out my tumblr tomorrow at 11 a.m. EST
ETA: I know I have comments I need to respond to! I was busy with some real life stuff this week but will try to catch up tomorrow
